Be a Volunteer
Volunteers are essential members of the Lake Katherine team and we are always looking for dedicated individuals or groups to help with our mission to “connect people with nature.” Whether you’re someone with a passion for nature, a high school or college student hoping to gain new skills, a recent retiree looking for something new, or have a group of people looking to contribute to the community, we have something for almost everyone.
In order to protect the health and safety of our community, employees, visitors, and their families from COVID-19, Lake Katherine is currently requiring all applicants to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
Do you enjoy visiting Lake Katherine, but want to get more involved? Consider volunteering and become a part of our team.
We are always welcoming new volunteers, so whether you’re someone with a passion for nature, a high school or college student hoping to gain new skills, or a recent retiree looking for something new, we have something for almost everyone.
Commitment
Volunteers commit up to 40 hours of service per year, typically done as weekly or biweekly shifts. Most volunteer opportunities are Monday through Friday during our business hours, however Saturday opportunities are available for certain positions after gaining experience.
